I would like to personally apologize for not posting for the last two weeks. I am SO sorry... but life "got in the way". Don't you hate when that happens?? lol!!

So excited to head back to EVER AFTER to teach again. I am doing a GRATITUDE project on Sat. November 7th at the store. I think it is one of my ALL TIME favorite class projects EVER---- This is all about your GRATITUDE. I decided to document my feelings, thoughts and family for 2009. Perfect for November and the time to reflect upon our thankfulness and blessings. I used so much product in this book. I think I put about five different collections in one book. I love to mix and match...PLUS, I added TWO of the new T-DROPS (red) and the LARGE clear GEMS. Lots of transparencies too- I added a special section for Matt and Kayla and how grateful I am that they found each other. This is GENTRY- she is now a SENIOR- I am feeling sad at the thought of her going to college next year, so I journaled my thoughts in this project.It's all about REMEMBERING our gratitude and the things that matter most to us. This project will be full of art from the soul. So bring photos of people or things that you want to document. I know it's important to REMEMBER and document the simple things- so come join me!!!!!

This week at Scrappin’ Attack we got several great classes that will and techniques to your paper crafting and great projects:

  

SPOOKTACULAR CARDS:  Make 4 cards for the upcoming Halloween Season with an industry expert and certainly a big Halloween fan.  The cards will shake- rattle and roll and are so darn cute!!  Get introduced to a new line of stamps that you will want for your own use!! You will want to make the “You’ve been BOO’d” tag again and again for friends, family and teachers.. Call  to reserve your space for this Saturday Class on the 19th. There will be a morning class and an afternoon class available.

Got Cricut??? Don’t know how to make this amazing cutting machine “work for you” … Take the Creating with the Cricut classes and make your paper crafting sooooooo much easier !!! Space is available for the morning class – so call and reserve your space so you can begin using this awesome machine. 

Design Team Stayce DeWid from Creative Imaginations will be here to teach a mini album class – join this very talent teacher and make this  “BOO” album for those great pictures of the upcoming Fall/Halloween Season.  Come into the store to see this book and you will sign up for this class.

1-3 p.m. Lady Like Vintage Album

A Class Act Album created just for Margie’s peeps at Ever After. Create a mini out of something we all have at home! This pink and green mini book is chock full of goodies. Create pockets, folders, paper flowers, ribbon flowers & crepe’ paper frames! This class has a ton of beautiful product in it you will have lots of goodies left over to create with! You’ll be using October Afternoon, Dreamstreet and Webster’s Pages products to create this little beauty. $45.

“Chit, Chat & Charming Cards”

Ever After will be hosting a FREE yes you heard me right girlies FREE card swap!!!!

In this economy isn’t that music to our ears???

 

Make a maximum of 20 handmade cards including envelopes that are all the same design.

(Final # of cards will be determined by how many ladies sign up.)

 

Bring your cards to Ever After on the 26^th and we will sit and chat about what techniques, products and any special tips that were used in the making of your cards. Each person will leave with 20 different handmade cards.

Got Paint...and Gettin' Messy with It Part 2. Altered art is SOOOOO in right now and acrylic paint is an awesome medium for altering acrylic, paper, chipboard, cardboard, and so much more! Let’s “complete an altered mini album” the Frugal Scrapper Extraordinaire way! This is a continuation of the July 30th, where the Frugal Scrapper taught “Altered Art”. You will complete six additional awesome pages in this class filled with amazing techniques using acrylic paints. In this class you will use simple die cuts, household items, stamps and more to alter paper, acrylic, and flowers. If you missed the first class, simply call the store to order Lori’s Part 1 kit.
